Popplewell's is a well established name going as far back as the original owners of the Gaiety Theatre in Ayr.  However, in 1975 when the Theatre was sold, the costume department was no longer needed.  Thus, Popplewell's Fancy Dress and Theatrical Costume Hire was born!

Currently stocking over 1000 costumes and many accessories including: Wigs, Facepaints, Fake Eye-Lashes and many more, you will be spoiled for choice!

Also, for the likes of theatre groups etc. we also stock professional stage make up (as used by the BBC and many film companies).
